Kenya East United Meetings Thrive in Yatta and Kilome!

Kenya East United is growing! For two straight weekends (October 31st & November 7th) young adults gathered in the name of Jesus for fellowship, food, games, devotion, and fun.

First, in Yatta Division many young people came from all over the division to meet together. At the host Matuu Corps we had a great meeting where everyone there enjoyed themselves, even the DC and DYO!

Then in Kilome District there was a terrific young adult gathering as well. Over 65 people ages 18-28 came to the host Kilome Corps, some from very far. We had a wonderful time meeting and enjoying our fellowship together.

At both these meetings the theme was "Commitment" and the young people were able to discuss the question, "What causes young people to break their commitment to Christ?" along with, "What can we do to prevent this from happening?" In both Yatta and Kilome the youth came up with some great points. After a discussion they were given some ideas on what it really means to be committed to Christ and how they need to change to be fully committed themselves.

Everyone left refreshed spiritually (and physically after some tasty snacks) and we thank the host Corps for welcoming us and making everyone feel well at home.
